Established in 2022, FNE is an incorporated private company established by the Carey Group and CPC Engineering, who have a common vision for sustainable business and Indigenous participation.
Mr Lalor has played a key role in the development of FNE since 2021 while serving as Head of Corporate Development for Carey Group Holdings. During that time, he worked closely with FNE Chairman Daniel Tucker AM to support the establishment and strategic direction of the business.
FNE Chairman Daniel Tucker AM said the appointment reflects the continued development of the company as it expands its operations.
“Dominic has been closely involved in the development of First Nation Engineering since its formation and brings a strong understanding of both the company and the broader industry,” Mr Tucker said.
“His leadership will support the continued growth of the business while maintaining the values and partnerships that underpin the organisation.”
CPC Engineering Chief Executive Officer Glen Weir said CPC is proud to support the continued development of First Nation Engineering.
“First Nation Engineering was established through a strong, purpose-driven partnership between Carey Group and CPC Engineering, combining Indigenous leadership with engineering capability,” Mr Weir said.
“Dominic has been closely involved in the development of the business and is well placed to lead its next phase.”
Mr Lalor said he looks forward to continuing to build on the strong foundation established by the company’s founding partners.
“First Nation Engineering was created to combine strong engineering capability with meaningful Indigenous participation across the resources and infrastructure sectors,” Mr Lalor said.
“I look forward to working with our partners, clients and team to continue building the business and supporting opportunities for Indigenous participation in the industries we serve.”
First Nation Engineering is a privately incorporated Indigenous enterprise providing engineering design, construction and maintenance services to the mining, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors across Australia.
