CPC completed the engineering design for a 500 t/h crushing circuit at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes Plant in Western Australia. The Chemical Grade Plant 2 (CGP2) design includes primary and secondary crushing (jaw, cone), HPGR, screening, interconnecting conveyors and a stockpile reclaim.

The CGP2 expansion effectively doubles the lithium concentrate production of the current Greenbushes lithium processing facility, with the crushing plant processing 2.4 Mtpa of spodumene ore. CGP2 was commissioned late 2019.

Immediately following the completion of CGP2 crushing circuit, CPC completed the design for the 1,000 t/h Chemical Grade Plant 3 (CGP3) project. This expansion project will provide an additional 4.8 Mtpa of spodumene ore processing.
