In order to better service the Western Australian market, Sami Bitumen Technologies, a member of the French Colas Group of Companies, required a second import and processing terminal in the Fremantle Ports area, to support its existing operations in North Fremantle. Following an open competitive tender process, Carey was awarded the contract to manage the construction of civil infrastructure and building at the new Kwinana site.
